Building Surveyor
Location: Agile – Trafford
Salary: £45,495 – £47,641
Hours of Work: 35 per week
The Role:
As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting our Building Defects Team. You will provide technical expertise, determine appropriate remedial actions for building defects, and contribute to proactive, planned preventative maintenance. Your responsibilities will also include managing programmes of work to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical expertise on building defects and complex issues
2. Analyze building defects to identify trends and develop preventative maintenance plans
3. Manage and deliver work programmes efficiently and effectively
4. Offer contract management, planning, and liaison with relevant parties
What We Are Looking For:
5. BSc Hons Building Surveying/HNC Building Studies or other recognized building/professional qualification
6. Knowledge of sector-related Health and Safety and statutory compliance, including HHSRS
7. Experience in building surveying, particularly in a social housing environment
8. Familiarity with current legislation and statutory requirements of landlord and tenant
9. Positive attitude and excellent customer focus
The successful candidate must have a full driving license and access to a vehicle as travel across the northwest will be required.
