Role
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our high performing property services team.
Our ideal candidate will contribute effectively to the section to allow the best possible service to be offered to tenants and other stakeholders, while ensuring that the Association receives value for money in all aspects of its maintenance and wider role related activities. Through liaison with tenants, partner organisations and stakeholders, you will ensure that the Association’s properties are maintained to as high a standard as possible taking account of budgetary levels. The successful candidate will ensure effective management of all works carried out on behalf of the Association, including large scale planned maintenance projects, and assist in the appointment of contractors.

Property Services Officer

This post will be predominantly office-based with the opportunity to work from home one day per week.
Our ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of housing management within an RSL setting, including an understanding of how the basics of Housing Benefit and Universal Credit operate. This is a vital customer-facing role and the successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop positive working relationships.
We are looking for a high performing individual to join our Management Team, with responsibility for leading the:
* Delivery of projects aligned with our strategic priorities;
* Co-ordination of core internal/external services, performance, and stakeholder communication;
* Development of comprehensive and accurate records, reporting and administrative systems that demonstrate compliance with legislative and regulatory standards, reflecting best practice and mitigating risk;
Key Tasks:
1. Assembling and leading teams to ensure delivery of projects aligned to strategic priorities.
2. Developing robust performance management frameworks.
3. Actively contributing to policy and strategy development, including Equality Impact Assessment and compliance self-assessments.
4. Monitoring and reporting on policy/procedural compliance extending to General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Freedom of Information.
5. Coordinating, analysing and presenting performance and compliance reports across all functions.
6. Ensuring accurate and timely completion of regulatory returns (including the Annual Return on the Charter).
7. Scrutinising and validating performance data & statistics.
8. Liaising with Teams to identify and implement process efficiencies.
9. Ensuring appropriate performance benchmarking.

Spire View Housing Association (SVHA) is a community-based Registered Social Landlord operating in the Royston neighbourhood of Glasgow. Building on the experience and foundations established through our previous Energy Advice Project we are looking to recruit a new team member to work as an Energy Advisor offering households in Royston vulnerable to fuel poverty access to personalised energy advice and advocacy on an outreach basis across local community settings.
This project will link with wider organisations, services and activities offered locally targeting those most in need and vulnerable to fuel poverty and fuel debt.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week) and may include evening and weekend work. This post is funded through the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme until 31st January 2027.

Thenue Housing Association has approximately 75 staff and provides high quality housing with a stock base of approximately 3,000 properties in our six main communities as well as 21 supported accommodation projects, mainly located in Glasgow. We also provide a factoring service to over 800 owners within our communities.
Following the recent implementation of a new housing management and finance system, we are seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic and motivated individual who will support and be a key part of the finance team for Thenue Housing Association Ltd.
The post will be a key part of the finance team which has responsibility for delivering an effective finance function which is responsive to the needs of the Association’s staff, Board and customers. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Officer in providing the key financial information for the Director to report to Board as well as being responsible for the preparation of management accounts for Thenue’s subsidiaries.
You will have significant experience of working within a finance environment coupled with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. You will be expected to offer insight into daily tasks and processes, including identifying any improvements and efficiencies.
Educated to a higher standard is required and a relevant professional qualification is desirable.
