We are seeking a Senior support worker to lead a team of support workers in a community based residential home for six adults and is situated in an acre of gardens in on the outskirts of Hereford.
You will offer the best possible care and life experience for our client's young adults who enjoy a variety of trips out, such as swimming, cafes; undertaking arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening and much more.
What does the role of Senior Support Worker, Hereford role involve?
As a Lead Care Practitioner you will manage a small team of Support Workers ensuring each shift runs smoothly and effectively.
You will be responsible for conducting and properly recording regular supervisions for all team members in accordance with current guidelines.

Essential Criteria
Minimum of one years previous experience of working with adults with severe learning difficulties and who can present challenging behaviours.
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties
A natural respect for the dignity and individuality of each resident and an ability to promote these values within your team of staff
A valid current driving licence
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience of managing a small team of staff and delegation of workload
Previous experience of good supervision and supervision training.
Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent
