About the Role: As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students and teaching staff to support the delivery of the Maths curriculum. This role is ideal for a recent Maths graduate looking to gain experience in a secondary school environment and considering a future career in teaching or education. Key Responsibilities: Support students individually or in small groups, helping them to understand mathematical concepts and improve their confidence in the subject. Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to a variety of learning needs. Provide targeted interventions for students who require additional support, including those preparing for GCSEs or other assessments. Monitor student progress, providing feedback to teachers to inform tailored support strategies. Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to engage with Maths. Support classroom management, ensuring lessons run smoothly and students remain focused. Contribute to the preparation of learning materials and resources to enhance students’ understanding. What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will: Hold a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
