Day-to-day of the role: Deliver tailored educational activities to small classes of 3-6 students, ensuring each child's learning and developmental needs are met. Develop and implement individualised educational plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educational professionals and families to support students' specific needs. Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of learners. Foster a nurturing and safe learning environment that encourages students to engage and progress. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to continuously develop professional skills and share best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a focus on special educational needs. Experience working with children aged 4-19 in a special educational needs setting. Strong understanding of the strategies needed to manage and support children with diverse educational needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies. Patience, creativity, and a commitment to providing inclusive education.
