Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Removals Operations Manager to work for our established family-run Removals client, offering domestic and business services internationally, from their base in Warwickshire.
As Removals Operations Manager you will be responsible for handling moves from start to finish on a day-to-day basis. The role involves processing new move bookings, maintaining control and overseeing service delivery. You will be liaising with the estimator regarding all aspects of removals, overseeing vehicles and crewmembers, ensuring that the correct vehicles and men are allocated for each job.
Removals Operations Manager duties include:
1. Allocating the correct amount of resources for each job and remaining within estimated costs
2. Dealing with all aspects of fleet maintenance
3. Make sure the diary is kept up to date
4. Ensuring that jobs confirmed by the estimator or the office is entered on removals software
5. Dealing with staff recruitment, training and development
6. Ensure all jobs are provisioned correctly and removals jobs sheets have been checked for the next day
In return, the successful Removals Operations Manager will be offered up to £40,000 + profit bonus.
