Mobile Plant Operator Cargo, Carlisle, CA6 4BA Night Shift 10pm – 6am (40 hours) Full-time / permanent We are currently recruiting for Mobile Plant Operators to join our team within our Sawn Timber Yard at our Carlisle mill. As a Mobile Plant Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of duties across the yard, working both within a team and individually. Specifically, some responsibilities of a Mobile Plant Operator may include: Movement of sawn timber from sawmill to stock locations around the site. Operation of a Side Loader & other mobile plant vehicles. Scanning timber packs to determine stock and log positions. About you: We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals who are focussed and have the ability to meet deadlines. In addition, you’ll have; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. An appreciation of Health & Safety and quality. Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role. Experience operating mobile plant would be preferred but is not essential as full training is provided. Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous. Full driving license.
