As a Marketing and Communications Officer, you will: Have day-to-day management of the PTMWA website, including updating and writing content, improving site traffic and SEO (Search engine optimisation). Support various projects, campaigns and activities which help drive brand awareness, and engage and develop future funders and clients. Support email communications – including setting up, testing, scheduling, segmenting audiences, creating automated user journeys, and reporting on email campaigns. Support external events through marketing campaigns, participants’ digital enrolment, and other event-related marketing and promotional material. Ensure the consistent branding and digital dissemination of critical materials, including but not limited to strategy, brochures, reports, slide decks and other collateral used for promotion and awareness. Have day-to-day liaison with external agency support, for example, website maintenance and PR agencies. Support the day-to-day running of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube), using these to promote our services, increase brand awareness and drive engagement with our audiences. Assist in managing the Pankhurst Trust social media calendar, ensuring all social media channels incorporate a diverse, UK-wide range of inclusive and informative content. To be successful as an Marketing and Communications Officer you will need to have A relevant Marketing, Communications and/or PR qualification or equivalent demonstrable work experience Excellent attention to detail, with excellent planning and organisational skills GCSE Maths and English grade 4 minimum or equivalent or equivalent demonstrable work experience Experience in a relevant marketing role in a social purpose business or charity sector Experience working with a CMS (content management system) and awareness of the value of SEO (Search engine optimisation), and experience of improving this to generate increased traffic. Project management experience – working with colleagues across different teams to drive activity to completion, delivering against deadlines in a fast-moving environment and reporting progress.
