An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our Histology Office Team as a Pathology Support Worker at Royal Stoke University Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to perform a range of routine tasks within Pathology, providing clerical and relevant support to the Histology Office, Laboratory, and Pathologists. The role involves slide filing and transportation, sorting, and data entry of samples.

Essential Qualifications
* GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications
* NVQ in customer related/administration
Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience
* Ability to prioritise own workload and work as part of a team
* Ability to follow instructions and processes
* Basic keyboard skills
* Understanding of confidentiality within the organisation
* Ability to liaise with supervisors when necessary
