Children’s Home Residential Support Worker
18 – 24 hour Permanent Contract Available for Weekend Support Worker (Saturdays and Sundays).
Hours can include the following shift pattern:
1. Daytime shifts 9am - 6pm
2. Sleep-in shifts 5pm - 9am
3. Evening shifts 5pm - 10pm
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and independent residential children’s home in Torbay.
Essential to be considered for the role:
* Aged 21 years or over.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns, which will include evenings, sleep shifts, and weekends.
* Must be able to work weekends and sleep-ins.
* Transferable skills that can support your work with children and young people.
We support young people who present with a variety of complex needs between the ages of 11 – 17 years. The home is registered to provide care and accommodation for young people who suffer from a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Desirable skills for the role:
* Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent Diploma Level 3 or above.
* Minimum one year’s experience in a residential childcare setting.
