Senior Automation and Infrastructure Engineer Job Responsibilities Lead the design and installation of infrastructure of various control systems for clients. Lead the design of network and systems administration: domain controllers, user accounts; troubleshoot networking issues; lead network expansion and/or optimization projects for clients. Manage or support projects as the primary controls resource from front end design through commissioning: serve as the interface between stakeholders and contracted support Author, review and approve deliverables (proposals, drawings, documents, etc.) Manage the activities of on-site project resources; define detailed plan necessary to complete approved projects on schedule and within budget; support testing and commissioning activities; ensure the deliverable is technically and functionally correct. Develop validation documentation and implement validation plans for control systems. Develop validation documents per FDA cGMP and GAMP standards, functional specifications, design specifications and requirements trace matrices. Design, program, test and validate process control automation systems. Prepare and execute validation protocols (AIQ, IQ, OQ) for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance per FDA requirements Ensure compliance with ISA S88 industry standards in cGMP environment. Qualifications We require a BS Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical, Chemical, etc.) or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the development, maintenance and validation of automated control systems for Lead Engineering and/or Project Management positions or a Masters degree with 6 months of experience in the development, maintenance and validation of automated control systems. Familiarity of control systems including DeltaV, Rockwell, Siemens, Wonderware, OPC Servers, Thin Clients, etc Familiarity of virtualization technologies including HyperV and VMware Familiarity of infrastructure networking Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations. Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language. Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Strong customer service orientation. Skillsets Windows OS, OSX, and Linux, Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and Access). Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, water, lubrication, programming systems. Assembly Line, Continuous Improvement (CIP), Motion Control, Process Control, SCADA. NEC, C/C++, MATLab, Absolute, Microcontrollers, Labview. AutoCAD, Solidworks, PLC, Siemens, RSLogix, Allen Bradley, Robots, CNC. HMI (Graphics/Design), P&ID, MODBUS, PROFIBUS, Ethernet Network Design. Experience in Field Layout and Electrical Wiring. Industrial Automation. Troubleshooting/Testing Equipment and Practices.
