Page Group are delighted to be partnering with a key client who works within the Global Manufacturing & Engineering sector. Due to growth within the business, they are now looking to appoint a Customer Service Team Leader who will oversee all B2B customer service interactions, supporting both domestic and export markets.
Job Description
* Lead and support a team of 6 FTE across Customer Service, ensuring regular training, development, and 1-2-1's are provided.
* Ensure the team performs against implemented SLAs & KPIs in line with customer expectations.
* Be the middle point between the sales team and external customers, providing regular and transparent communications at all times.
* Act as the point of contact for any escalations, issues, or troubleshooting needs.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with external customers.
* Ensure the team is managing all aspects from order receipt/quotation, order entry, and production.
* Work closely with production planning to ensure orders are communicated in a timely manner, and customers are kept informed regarding lead times and any potential changes.
* Work with 3rd party hauliers, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure delivery slots are booked for customer orders.
* Coordinate and implement all UK & Export transportation, ensuring any export documentation is completed and submitted to relevant authorities.
* Ensure the team is utilizing the CRM system for customer data and order processing.
* Build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders across production, sales, and finance.
* Identify areas for improvement across Customer Service and implement action plans to address any issues with service or quality.
The Successful Applicant
* Experience leading and managing a customer service team.
* Understanding and experience of export documentation (desirable).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to forge strong working relationships.
* Ability to drive improvement across a team.
What's on Offer
The role of Customer Service Team Leader will join a global manufacturer based at their offices in Huddersfield.
Working hours are Monday to Friday - 08:30 to 17:00.
Salary of £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.
