We are pleased to be recruiting a Maintenance Technician for our international client in the Blackwood area.
Job Purpose
To maximise the department machines' output and maintain the manufacturing processes within the designed specification.
Activities & Responsibilities
1. Provision of engineering and operational support to a manufacturing area
2. Machine setting, to achieve product specification and performance
3. Maintenance of automated inspection systems
4. Fault finding and corrective action
5. Machine inspection
6. Responding to minor breakdowns
7. Preventative maintenance
8. Major breakdowns
9. To achieve compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, Food Safety requirements, Legislative requirements, GMP and company policies and procedures
10. Preparation of sub-assembly
11. Other tasks as reasonably requested by the Manager
Education & Qualifications
A formal qualification in appropriate subject ONC/HNC, BTEC/City and Guilds in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Discipline/apprenticeship.

This is a 3 shift pattern of days, nights and afternoons.
Base salary £36,000 to £37,800 DOE plus 15% shift allowance.
