Due to their continued growth and success, they are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager to join their team and help lead the sales operations to new heights.
Position Overview:
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the sales team, ensuring the achievement of both individual and team sales targets. You will be a key figure in developing and executing strategies to maximise revenue and expand our client base, while maintaining the highest standards of service. This role requires a combination of leadership, industry knowledge, and sales acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales consultants to achieve sales targets and KPI's.
• Provide training, coaching, and development to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and offer constructive feedback.
• Create and maintain a positive and high-energy working environment.
2. Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase property sales and meet business objectives.
• Drive team performance to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Regularly review sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
3. Client Relationships and Business Development:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property sellers, buyers, and clients.
• Act as a key point of contact for high-value clients, offering advice and guidance throughout the buying/selling process.
• Lead business development initiatives, including marketing strategies and client outreach to expand the agency's reach.
4. Market Knowledge and Reporting:
• Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Analyze sales data and prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
• Provide insights on market conditions, pricing trends, and areas of opportunity.
5. Compliance and Company Policies:
• Ensure that the sales team adheres to company policies and all relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Maintain a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience in sales and leadership (minimum of 3-5 years).
2. Demonstrable experience in managing and motivating a sales team to exceed targets.
3. In-depth knowledge of the property market, including local trends, regulations, and industry standards.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
5. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
6. Ability to build lasting client relationships and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
7. Proficient in using property management and CRM software.
Qualifications:
1. Full driving license
2. Relevant qualifications in estate agency or real estate are desirable but not essential (e.g., NAEA, ARLA).
