About The Role
We're looking for a National Account Manager to join our team here at FBC UK! The purpose of the role is to deliver budgeted Vol, Revenue & Margin in designated customers through execution of business plans which focus on core range, NPD listings, activation and filling distribution gaps. The role is accountable for negotiating mutually beneficial business plans with key customers to help deliver the above.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver budgeted financials across a large Retailer Own Brand portfolio.
* Develop compelling business plans for assigned Customers.
* Negotiate all JBPs within agreed boundaries.
* Accountable for the full P&L for designated Customers.
* Forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annually.
* Accurately manage the internal set up of all customer prices and terms.
* Document and control key account communication – pricing, promotions, range, co-ordination of category work where applicable.
* Lead range review negotiations with the support of the Category Manager.
* Post analysis of activity and communication of relevant insight.
* To be the internal face of designated customers, ensuring each department understands what is important.
* Reporting weekly performance against budget, targets and forecast providing variance analysis.
* Relevant account administration.
* Cross functional project involvement both internally and externally.
* Empowered to make some day to day account decisions within boundaries.
M&S Specific
The purpose of the role is for maintaining and building an effective, efficient and profitable retailer brand (RB) range to drive additional footfall and profitability into customer (M&S).
* The role is responsible for creating RB business plans to deliver commercial targets for sales and profitability.
* The role is responsible for co-ordinating the Innovation and Renovation of the RB range across customer (M&S) and FBC cross functional stakeholders (Project Teams, packing, production, planning, I&R etc).
* The role is accountable for translating customer, shopper, and seasonal requirements / insights into specific RB projects, both product and packaging, to build both tactical and long term sales and profit plans for FBC.
* The role is responsible for leading the cross functional “M&S customer team” to deliver on time in full orders to M&S at c95% KPI.
Key Ingredients We're Looking For
* Experienced in managing food retailer accounts is preferable either as an Account Manager / Executive or similar role.
* Uses Category insights to create a compelling selling story and to conduct reviews.
* Managed the full P&L.
* A good understanding of Retailer Brand management within the Grocery channel would be advantageous.
