This bootcamp is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates, early-career researchers, technicians, and professionals looking to refresh their expertise in practical lab techniques. Course Highlights The bootcamp begins with an introduction to laboratory protocols, including safety procedures, proper documentation, and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). As the course progresses, participants gain hands-on experience in key techniques: Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) & Gel Electrophoresis – Amplify and analyze DNA using cutting-edge equipment. Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) – Understand immunology principles and apply diagnostic techniques. Microbiology – Practice aseptic techniques, culture bacteria, and assess the effects of antibiotics on bacterial growth. Western Blotting – Separate and analyse proteins using SDS-PAGE and imaging systems. CV & Interview Workshop – Led by industry experts, this session helps participants build a strong scientific CV, tailor applications for biotech roles, and develop effective interview techniques.
