Reliability Maintenance Engineering Planner
The Role will be to support the engineering team to improve asset reliability and maintenance cost effectiveness within their department through:
* Definition
* Implementation
* Scheduling of preventative maintenance plans.
* The role holder will be the department lead for the CMMS offering support and training where required.
* They will also offer general administration to the engineering team to support daily operations.

The Role of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Planner
* Compile equipment performance information, evaluate problems and support the identification of potential solutions to prevent recurrence
* Establish asset importance priorities using FMEA/FMECA assessment approaches
* Lead in the implementation of a Plan, Do, Check, Act initiative within engineering processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Incorporate root cause analysis and continuous improvement into maintenance plans and maintenance performance.
* Ensure that the learnings from maintenanceactivities and breakdowns are fed back into the maintenance plans.
* To understand the implications of Statutory / Mandatory regulations / legislation (e.g., PUWER, ATEX, LOLER COSHH etc.) as part of the development of asset maintenance strategies.
* Ensure the CMMS is correctly scheduled to provide a high level of equipment availability.
* Lead the planning process for major engineering plant shutdowns.
* Be a promoter and supporter of change management within the engineering team.
* Ensure the stores inventory for the department is correctly recorded and new items added as required.
* Manage the procurement process for the engineering team by placing and tracking orders as required.
* Be the department SME on the CMMS, train the department in its use and escalate issues as required to the IT Service desk.
Requirements of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Planner
* The jobholder will ideally be qualified to BTEC national level or equivalent but must be proven in the execution of plans.
* Experience in change management and continuous improvement, ideally qualified to Lean6 Yellow3+ (ISO 18404:2015 Lean6 Yellow Belt Certificate + Institute for Apprenticeships Improvement Technician apprenticeship standard Certificate)
* Either, Asset Management, Maintenance & Reliability (IOM3), or,
* Fundamentals of Asset Management
* Maintenance Strategy Development
* Reliability Centrered Maintenance
* Failure Investigation & Analysis
* Maintenance Management (IMechE)
* World Class Maintenance
* Reliability centres and risk based maintenance (RCM & RBM)
* Asset Management
* Maintenance planning & scheduling
* Total Productive Maintenance
* Knowledge of health & safety law, business standards and statutory legislation encountered through planned asset maintenance, ideally qualified in IOSH Managing Safely.
* Knowledge of INFOR CMMS would be advantageous

* The working pattern of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Planner is Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
