My Client is looking for an electrically biased engineer to join a critical maintenance team at a datacentre that powers one of the UKS leading banking organizations.
Shift rotation is on 4 on 4 off rota (Days & nights) 7am - 7pm and 7 pm - 7 am Salary: up to 48K
This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant systems with responsibilities including:
Performing maintenance, repairs, and calibration to ensure reliability
Meeting key performance indicators and service standards
Coordinating with external contractors and suppliers when needed
Completing required documentation and reports accurately and on time
Adhering to company policies and safety procedures
Reporting deficiencies in work systems or equipment
Requirements and Skills
NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification in Engineering Maintenance
Knowledge of building Statutory Compliance
Understanding of Health and Safety at Work Act (1974)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Specialized Experience (Highly Desirable)
Experience with critical assets like UPS and Standby Generators
Low Voltage Appointed Person certification
