Sales Account Manager – Audio and Music
North London
£35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus and Benefits
Are you a seasoned Sales Account Manager seeking a challenging role supporting some of the world’s best-known artists. We are proud to partner with a dynamic organization, who we are working with exclusively and on a retained basis. The business is looking for strong relationship manager to join to manage and increase the sales of existing accounts within the business.
You will have to match the businesses passion for music, live sound and for the Audio Video Industry. They have become one of the market leaders in supplying and supporting the Professional Audio, Video, Broadcast and Touring industries with cables, connectors and related ancillary products including bespoke and turnkey cabling solutions.
The Sales Account Development Manager is a pivotal role to support and deliver the continued strategic growth in the UK. The remit of the role is to develop and grow the existing client portfolio and seek out new prospects through relationship building and identifying their needs and promoting our world class-leading products.
Having a passion for live sound, recording, performing or production industries is a huge advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Look after and develop existing B2B accounts within the AV industry (you will be given 300-500 existing accounts)
* Hunt for new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
* Work from the North London office with from time to time the need to visit clients on site
* Work towards monthly sales targets and other KPIs as defined by the Head of the Sales
* Maintain the company’s CRM system - reporting on all call activity, entering new client records, updates and quotes
* Provide a world class customer experience in every interaction with our clients whether by phone, email or in person.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A consultative sales approach
* Excellent client facing skills as once trained client meetings off-site are necessary
* Motivated to sell
* Previous experience of managing & developing key accounts
* Ability to demonstrate success in developing relationships with major accounts
* A strategic mind and a methodical approach to selling
* Social selling knowledge
* Relaxed enough to fit within the team and the industry but with a focussed & professional attitude
* Willing to learn and develop themselves into talented sales professionals
* Familiar with using CRM systems and various order processing systems
* Experience within the AV industry is a huge advantage although we will consider applicants from other technical backgrounds
