Afixed termSpeech and Language Therapy band 6 role has become available within the Community Based Neuro Rehab Team and Earlier Supported discharge Team for Stroke.The role is for 37 hours per week.You will be working alongside ourband6Speech and Language Therapistand other professionals within the team.
The roleis basedwithin the Reading locality based atCremyllRoad. However, there is opportunity and expectation to support the wider team asrequiredwhich involves travelling to other sites and areas across Berkshire.
We are an established and supportive team of band 6 and 7 Speech and Language Therapists.We would consider an existing band 5 looking to develop their skills. You will be supported to develop your clinical skills within the well-established multi-disciplinary team. We havegood linkswith the wider Speech and Language services in Berkshire.
The role will provide specialist speech and language therapy to adults with communication difficulties and dysphagia as part of theCommunityNeurorehabilitation and Earlier SupportedDischarge team for Stroke. The post will be offered to individuals who are motivated, innovative and have experience in neurological rehabilitation and are dysphagia trained, to join a dynamic, client centred service that provide excellence in the rehabilitation and management of patients.
