Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care to all residents. You will be pivotal in maintaining the home's high standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage all aspects of the residential home, ensuring the well-being, safety, and comfort of all residents.
2. Develop and implement individual care plans, tailored to the needs of each resident.
3. Ensure the home operates in accordance with CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards, regulations, and best practices.
4. Manage and motivate a team of care staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of performance and staff retention.
5. Oversee the financial management of the home, including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control.
6. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
7. Continuously monitor and improve the quality of care and services provided, implementing quality assurance measures and addressing any issues that arise.
8. Handle safeguarding concerns and incidents with professionalism, ensuring appropriate actions are taken in line with policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
2. Registered Manager with CQC or the ability to become registered.
3. Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential or nursing care setting.
4. Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
7. Passionate about delivering high-quality care and creating a nurturing environment for residents.
