The starting salary for this role is £14,292 per annum (pro rata to £35,730 FTE) for working 14.4 hours per week. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment opportunity.
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Personal Assistant to support our Executive Director for Community Protection and Emergencies (Chief Fire Officer), where your work will help us to achieve our aims.
Your main work base location will be Surrey Fire and Rescue Headquarters at Woodhatch Place, Reigate. However, hybrid and flexible working is welcomed and supported; we care about the job you do, not where you do it!

About the role
This is a varied role where you'll be providing Senior Personal Assistant support for our busy Executive Director for Community Protection and Emergencies (Chief Fire Officer). This will involve inbox and diary management, prioritising appointments, responding to and resolving complex enquiries, detailed minute taking and record keeping, organising events, high-quality research and analysis, preparing reports and presentations, as well as administration and project support when required.
Previous experience of providing executive-level PA support is critical for this role. We're looking for someone who can work successfully to deliver complex tasks through multiple strands of work, sometimes under pressure, and produce meeting notes and actions to a high standard; this position will require strong planning and organisational skills.
