Salary + Benefits: £25000 - £26000 per annum
Long established business and well known within their industry for providing mechanical services. This role offers an opportunity to manage your own desk and take ownership!
You would be responsible for:
1. Customer Interaction: Dealing with customers via phone, email, and occasionally face-to-face. Customers may wish to hire equipment or be manufacturers managing maintenance contracts for end users.
2. Managing Inspections: Ensuring six-monthly onsite inspections of equipment and three-month inspections for the largest client. This involves liaising with drivers for scheduling and careful tracking for Health & Safety compliance.
3. Dealing with Suppliers: Ordering parts from suppliers in a timely manner to ensure the workshop can fix equipment on-site or in-house.
4. Engineer Scheduling: Scheduling parts and allocating resources for breakdowns. Logging job sheets detailing work carried out by engineers.
5. Invoicing: Inputting details from job sheets into the system for invoicing.
Hours: Flexible - 8.30 am to finish at 4 pm, with 30 minutes for lunch.
