Trindlemoss House supports adults who have learning disabilities and other support needs including autism. We use a Positive Behavioural Support Model to enable, support and encourage residents to work towards being as independent as possible within a homely environment. Each of the 6 residents has their own self-contained flat where they are supported according to their unique support needs.
The successful candidates will work as part of a team alongside Residents to identify personal outcomes and co-create and review plans that will enable them to achieve their personal outcomes. You will use an asset-based approach to identify, design and implement building-based and wider community-based opportunities that contribute positively to the achievement of personal outcomes whilst taking a risk enablement approach. You will lead and supervise a team of staff ensuring Residents achieve their personal outcomes.
PVG (Adults)
This post is considered Regulated Work with Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with protected adults. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment being made by North Ayrshire Council.
Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant PVG check (£59 or £18), which will be deducted in instalments from your wages following commencement of employment.
