Staffing Match are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Administrator to join our prestigious logistics client located in Grange Park.
Purpose:
To support the Health, Safety and Facilities Manager by providing administrative support including data entry, document creation, and managing contractor paperwork. This role will also conduct the site-based Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) activities and manage the inventory of PPE, First Aid supplies, and other consumables.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administration
2. Assist in hazard identification for Risk Assessments
3. Data entry of hazards identified onto Risk Assessments
4. Help collect information, instructions, and photos for the creation of SSOW
5. Data entry of information & instructions and photos onto a SSOW template
6. Data entry of accident and incident investigation records onto database for group HS statistics
7. Maintain the Health & Safety Training Matrix
8. Digitise all SSOW and other Training Records on SharePoint for audit purposes
9. Digitise all waste transfer notes and save onto SharePoint for audit purposes
10. Booking of contractor visits and being the point of contact when on site
11. Delivering contractor inductions
12. Issuing permits to work
13. Maintaining PPE stores area
14. Inventory checks of PPE, Consumables, and first aid supplies
Planned Preventive Maintenance:
1. Weekly Bay Door and Dock leveller checks
2. Weekly flushing of infrequently used water outlets
3. Weekly Fire Alarm Checks
4. Weekly Call Point Checks
5. Weekly Checks of fire doors
6. Monthly Tap Temperature recording
7. Monthly Fire Extinguisher Checks & Cleaning
Skills / Experience:
Proven experience in an administration role supporting a team, previous data entry experience, proficient in English, good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, high level of attention to detail, highly organised, and a practical and proactive approach with the ability to show initiative and pay attention to detail. Some experience of working within a Health and Safety department would be advantageous.
Initially, the role is for a 3-month period and the pay rate is £13.30 per hour.
