What you'll do
The Marketing Graduate Programme will take you through an intense, demanding but incredibly rewarding two years of structured development across the three core areas of Marketing:
1. Brand & Strategy is the division looking after strategic planning, brand strategy and media. Working with our agencies, the media team are responsible for planning and buying the media, to ensure Lidl advertising in seen in the right place, at the right time, by the right people.
2. The Campaigns & Content team are responsible for project managing all brand, trade driving & business as usual campaigns and projects from development to implementation. Working with our in-house teams and external creative agencies, the team manage all channels for a campaign, from TV to radio, instore to online.
3. The Brand Engagement team get close to our customers, creating meaningful moments through partnerships, events and comms. They work closely with our international colleagues on global partnerships such as UEFA, through to local store marketing and store specific events. They also ensure our products and brands are seen heard through innovative PR, and winning quality awards.
Across each team, you will work alongside and feed into our inhouse production and creative team, who design, artwork and create beautiful photography.
What you'll need
4. A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline by September or graduated no earlier than September
5. Experience working within a marketing-based role is advantageous
6. Passion for working as part of a team and ability to work independently
7. Desire to learn, develop and challenge yourself in a demanding and dynamic environment
8. A naturally analytical mind-set with plenty of common sense
9. Attention to detail
10. Entrepreneurial flair, adaptable and highly driven
11. Decisive and able to cope with the pressure of demanding targets and deadlines
12. Communicates confidently and effectively
13. Already live - or happy to relocate - within a one-hour commute of Lidl GB Head Office, Tolworth, Surrey
14. To be legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time basis
15. German language skills desirable but not essential
16. Able to attend the assessment day on 23rd January
