We are delighted to be opening applications for our Information Technology Graduate Scheme with a start date in September 2025.

The Prax Group will, over the duration of the 3-year programme, provide an IT Business Analyst Graduate with the opportunity to work in different projects across the Corporate, Retail, Upstream, Refining, International and Logistics divisions of the Group.
As an IT Business Analyst Graduate, you will work alongside the IT Department based in Weybridge and other departments across the business to elicit and document business processes and functions which accurately reflect the current and future modes of operation of the company.
Key responsibilities from Day 1 will include:
1. Working with project teams from initial concept through to delivery.
2. Conducting user workshops to elicit business requirements.
3. Presenting the requirements within the Business and to IT development teams.
4. Producing high level & detailed functional and software requirements specifications.
5. Contributing towards the design of new system developments and the evolution of existing system capabilities.
6. Developing a strong knowledge of Prax business model to ensure system requirements are as future-proof as possible.
To be successful you will:
1. Be on track or have achieved, a 2:1 degree (or higher) in a related discipline.
2. Possess good problem-solving skills and thrive under the challenge of doing so.
3. Have an inquisitive and forward-thinking mindset, who is always looking to learn and develop.
4. Have strong analytical skills.
5. Possess the ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels within the business and with third-party vendors.
6. Must be working towards or have completed a bachelor's or master's degree, graduating in 2025 or the previous 2 years.
Technical skills (desirable):
1. Good understanding of software design principles.
2. Experience of using MS Projects and JIRA (or any other similar tool).
3. Good knowledge of UML modelling.
Recruitment Process
The closing date for all Prax Graduate Scheme applications is 31st December 2024.
After applications are closed, successful applicants will proceed to the next stage in the recruitment process, which will be a pre-recorded video interview.
The third and final stage of the recruitment process will be an in-person interview at one of our offices. Depending on the role you have applied for, you may be asked to prepare a short presentation for the interview.
