The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Psychologist to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation services, working closely with multidisciplinary team members to develop and deliver personalized treatment plans. This position will also involve supervising junior psychologists, supporting continuous professional development, and contributing to service development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic and risk assessments, and deliver tailored therapeutic interventions based on individual needs.
* Provide a range of evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed approaches.
* Act as a clinical supervisor to junior psychologists and assistant psychologists, fostering professional growth and skills development.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and recommendations to support collaborative patient care.
* Develop and lead psychoeducational workshops and group therapy sessions.
* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of care pathways, service policies, and treatment programs within Priory Dorking.
* Engage in research and audit activities to support evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
* Essential: HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
* Experience: A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a relevant clinical setting, with specific experience in complex mental health and inpatient settings.
* Extensive knowledge and application of evidence-based psychological therapies and best practices for mental health treatment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience in clinical supervision and supporting the professional development of colleagues.
