The Advanced Fire Risk Assessor will be responsible for: - Conducting complex and non-complex Fire Risk Assessments across a variety of premises, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and preparing detailed reports with actionable recommendations. - Performing quality assurance and validation of fire safety activities, including fire door and compartmentation surveys. - Staying updated on fire safety and health and safety legislation to provide clients with best-practice guidance and bespoke advice. - Supporting clients with training, fire strategy development, and effective collaboration with contractors and regulators. - Leading high-risk fire risk assessments while mentoring and guiding team members to deliver exceptional results. The Advanced Fire Risk Assessor will have: - A strong background in Health and Safety Consultancy, with a focus on Fire Risk Assessments. Experience in student accommodation is highly desirable. - Diploma-level qualifications in Health and Safety and Fire Safety, along with CertIOSH (ideally). Registration with the Tiered Fire Risk Assessors Register (TFRAR) is a plus. - Comprehensive knowledge of UK Fire Safety and Health and Safety Legislation, technical standards, and best practices. - Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to provide clear and actionable client guidance. - A full, clean driving license and the flexibility to travel UK-wide, including overnight stays.
