Role and responsibilities:
Duties will include but not be limited to;
Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
Assist in the creation of management reports for the company Financial Controller
Analysing the monthly financial results
Bank and cash flow analysis
Control account reconciliations
PAYE/CIS and VAT submissions
Auditing internal accounting processes and procedures
Key role in statutory year end audit
Reporting to the Financial Controller in all areas of finance
Skills required:
Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with proven relevant experience
Experience in the management of an accounts team
Strong accounting systems and management reporting skills that can be evidenced through your experience
Flexible approach and able to multi-task and effectively prioritise your workload and have an enthusiasm for new projects alongside business-as-usual activity
Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
The ability to communicate with all non-finance stakeholders at all levels is essential
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Role relevant experience in construction industry (desirable)
Knowledge of ERP software package Microsoft Navision 365 BC (desirable)
