NES Fircroft are supporting a key O&G client, with a QA Managerial role based in Great Yarmouth on a permanent basis.
The client is looking for an individual with certifications such as Six Sigma, ASQ, or similar, along with holding ISO 9001 Auditor qualification.
Within the role, it will be your responsibility to lead and manage the overall quality assurance and quality control processes, to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to our clients. You will be Instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards, procedures, and systems, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction.
This role is open to UK nationals, or individuals who hold full RTW for the UK.
Duties & Main Responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality management system and optimize operational processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
Monitor key performance indicators related to quality metrics and prepare reports for management review
Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
Advise on energy industry regulations and standards, including SI-913, API and DNV codes
Oversee that the Quality Department is adequately resourced and report any gaps to Senior Management
Oversee preparation and delivery of Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans in accordance with internal and client requirements
Experience required
Significant experience in quality management within the engineering or manufacturing industry
Experience in leading quality improvement initiatives and managing quality control processes
In depth knowledge of oil and gas industry standards & regulations, including those pertaining to equipment inspection and testing, material classes and certification requirements
Background of quality management in machining and fabrication and project management
