We are seeking an enthusiastic Bookkeeper to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Location: This position will be based from our London office on a full-time basis, with potential for hybrid working following a 3-month probation.
Salary: based on Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Overview of Role: The Bookkeeper is responsible for computing, classifying, and recording financial transactions to ensure the financial records of assigned client are accurate.
Responsibilities:
1. Raising sales invoices
2. Maintaining QuickBooks online ledgers and electronic filing system in Teams
3. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
4. Perform credit card and bank reconciliations
5. Posting petty cash and tour manager floats
6. Creating payment packs online ready for manager approvals
7. Posting directors expense claims
8. Posting and reconciling intercompany accounts on QuickBooks online in local currencies
9. Revaluating foreign currency balances at month end
10. Generally assisting account managers as directed including:
1. Preparing VAT return packs
2. Assisting with preparation of tour accounts
3. Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
4. Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts
5. Assisting with gathering information with personal and corporate tax returns
11. Any other duties as required by your line manager or senior team which are proportionate to your level and remit
A successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Experience within a bookkeeping position ideally within a business management firm
2. General accounting experience
