The Architectural Heritage Society of Scotland is a Scottish charity dedicated to the protection, preservation, study, and appreciation of Scotland's historic buildings.
We are a volunteer-led body whose activities are devolved to regional groups which organise local activities (lectures, architectural visits, etc.) and carry out casework (commenting on planning applications of local and national importance).
The Head Office of the Society deals with the administration of the charity including trustee management, meetings, accounting, statutory filings, management of investments, membership, and so on.
The Charity seeks a volunteer to help the Hon. Treasurer with financial and governance matters. The role is flexible to take account of the volunteer's skills and experience but could include:
1. Book-keeping (Xero)
2. Gift Aid claims
3. Accounts preparation
4. New Trustee admin
5. Minute-taking
and so on.
