The Product (Cyber) Security Engineer works closely with the Product (Cyber) Security Architect to ensure the security of products and systems under development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Write Security Risk Analyses for parts of the system.
2. Evaluate system conformity to security requirements and liaise with customers.
3. Contribute to the definition of security measures.
4. Write security test objectives.
5. Evaluate security architecture test results.
6. Coordinate the implementation of security measures.
7. Support the design and development team on security issues.
8. Manage supplies related to security activities (if applicable).
9. Provide security impact analyses for residual vulnerabilities.
10. Alert the Product Security Architect about critical security events and vulnerabilities during development.
11. Assist with vulnerability analysis post-Entry Into Service.
Job Requirements
Qualified to a minimum of a degree in an engineering / electronic / technology field. Alternatively, a HNC / HND or equivalent qualification with demonstrated experience in a related role.
Demonstrated experience in security risk analysis methodologies.
Strong background in information systems and secure architecture principles with security knowledge of networks, and protocols across application layers.
Understanding of anti-tampering principles, attached and intrusion techniques, and cryptography best practices.
Proven ability to design security architectures and secure applications using embedded code, design languages, and scripting.
