Up to £24,000.00 per annum depending on experience

As an HSSU Coordinator at our Woking Hospital, you’ll combine basic computer literacy with strong organisation skills. From processing used surgical instruments for dispatch to receiving sterile surgical equipment and supporting our friendly theatre team – you’ll make sure everything runs smoothly.
As an HSSU Coordinator, you will:
1. Move and handle trays and items of various weights and sizes
2. Maintain accurate records and keep documentation up to date
3. Dispose of contaminated waste in accordance with hospital policy
4. Regularly check that our equipment is in good working order and all faults are reported
5. Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
6. Take action to rectify any problems and escalating issues where necessary

Our Woking Hospital is a leading private hospital in Surrey, South East England. Our specialities include Women’s and Men’s health, Orthopaedics, and Eye Care with many more available. We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment, Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.
