Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Assistant to support our team in various administrative and practical tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with retail and trade customers, both in person and over the phone. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a high standard of service.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide administrative support to team members
* Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
* Assist in the preparation of reports in Excel and other software tools.
* Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
* Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing information on various motor parts, or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Skills
* Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
* Candidates must hold a full UK Driving Licence
* Experience in a Parts Department is an advantage although any Motor trade experience will be considered.
* Experience in Motor Trade software, MAM, is an advantage but not essential.
