The Role
Ensure adherence to the highest standards of regulatory compliance across international operations. In this role, you’ll develop and implement governance frameworks, support acquisitions through due diligence and integration, and collaborate with internal teams to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Global Compliance Leadership: Manage compliance and governance initiatives across IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, and other departments.
* Policy and Framework Development: Develop and maintain policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with international regulations and industry standards.
* Governance Framework: Implement governance frameworks, including risk registers, to enhance risk identification and mitigation strategies.
* Audit and Risk Management: Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
* Regulatory Monitoring: Stay ahead of regulatory changes, ensuring organisational frameworks comply with global data protection and financial laws.
* Acquisition Support: Play a key role in legal due diligence and integration during subsidiary acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions.
* Training and Best Practices: Deliver targeted training and communicate best practices to promote a culture of operational excellence.
About You
* Proven experience in compliance, governance, or a related field, ideally within a global organisation.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including data protection and financial compliance.
* Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
* A strategic mindset with attention to detail and a passion for process improvement.
