Crane Supervisor - Winchester, SO23
VGC Group are looking for experienced Crane Supervisor to start on a project in Winchester.

Qualifications: Blue CPCS NVQ LVL2 Crane Supervisor Card, SSSTS, Safety Critical Medical, must have own transport.
Your role as a Crane Supervisor will be based in Winchester and will consist of:
1. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
2. Develop lifting plans and ensure they are followed during crane operations.
3. Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other personnel to schedule lifting activities.
4. Assess the site for potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
5. Conduct risk assessments and safety briefings prior to lifting operations.
6. Ensure all lifting activities comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
7. Monitor the work environment to ensure the safety of all personnel involved in crane operations.
8. Oversee the setup and dismantling of cranes on site.
9. Supervise crane operators, riggers, and other personnel involved in lifting operations.
10. Ensure that lifting equipment and accessories are properly inspected, maintained, and certified.
11. Act as the main point of contact for crane operations on site.
12. Communicate clearly and effectively with crane operators and other site personnel.
13. Relay instructions and information accurately to ensure efficient and safe lifting operations.
14. Maintain detailed records of all lifting operations, including risk assessments, safety checks, and incident reports.
15. Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and submitted as required.
16. Report any incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
