Location: Stevenage (SG1)
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
Pay: £750 per day paid weekly via umbrella – inside IR35
Duration: 6 month contract with the possibility of extension
Duties
• Plan and design the IT transition/transformation aspects of an acquisition programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
• Manage the programme's budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses
• Manage third party contributions to the programme
• Manage communications with all stakeholders
• Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
• Manage risks to the programme's successful outcome. If necessary, feed these risks into the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans
• Initiate extra activities and other management interventions, wherever gaps in the programme are identified or issues arise
• Ensure that the necessary governance documentation has been completed
• Report on the status of the programme - ensure that each project manager or lead has produced and provided a status report for inclusion within the programme status report
Person Specification
• Degree or equivalent, professional qualification advantageous (such as, MSP / PRINCE2 / AgilePM)
• Minimum 5 years’ IT Programme Management experience
• Strong IT Programme Management experience in overseeing IT transition/transformation aspects of an acquisition
• Experience overseeing Oracle ERP, Salesforce and Microsoft transition programmes or projects
• Skilled in strategic & tactical planning and programme management
• Strong Stakeholder Management
• Strong communications skills and ability to communicate and influence at all levels (inc. C-level)
• Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and onsite/offshore teams simultaneously
• Good financial and budgeting experience
• Experience with vendor/contract management and negotiations
