The Role You will support the overall programme for clinical change across NHS Lanarkshire through the Strategy Delivery Team and its supporting structures, particularly the Capital Investment Group. This will ensure an effective integrated service along with the two HSCPs to enable joint objectives to be achieved. In order to achieve this effectively the post holder will work closely with the Director of Acute Services, Chief Officers of HSCP’s as well as the Director of Planning, Property and Performance. You will manage the strategic planning of health services for NHS Lanarkshire under the leadership of the Director of Planning, Property & Performance. The post holder will have a key role in the delivery of project management across NHS Lanarkshire. As the Senior Planning and Delivery Manager you will lead on the development and monitoring of key strategies and plans in relation to strategic planning within NHS Lanarkshire and in relation to national and regional planning activity. You will work effectively with staff, clinical professionals and the wider health community, the public and other partners to develop and improve services through effective planning. You will be expected to work at the interface between NHS Lanarkshire, the Health and Social Care Partnership (H&SCP), other NHS Boards and other partnership agencies at a local and regional level. To contribute to regional and national planning meetings and agendas with a regard to the short, medium and long term requirements for NHS Lanarkshire.
