Job summary At Sirona Care & Health, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Children's Community Physiotherapist to join our team. This role is based in the Bristol area and forms part of the wider Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire service. You will work across a variety of settings, including the community and special schools, providing physiotherapy to children and young people with complex neurological and developmental conditions. As part of your role, you'll have the opportunity to supervise and support Band 4 staff and students, helping to shape the future of the team. You will also develop a deeper understanding of specialist equipment, postural management, and orthoses by working alongside orthotists to enhance your clinical practice. Main duties of the job Working with children and young people in their homes, early years settings, mainstream and special schools to provide physiotherapy assessments and interventions. To supervise Band 4's within the team and special school setting and support students as needed. To have a knowledge of Hydrotherapy and / or interest in developing skills in this area to support special school programmes.To have an interest in developing knowledge of specialist equipment and develop assessment skills for postural management. To have an interest in developing knowledge of orthoses and work alongside an orthotist during assessments.
