Purpose of Role
Responsible for completing tasks and procedures. Working independently, responsible for initiating and completing tasks and procedures, including where relevant responsibility for guiding others. The ability to gain, and where relevant apply a range of knowledge, skills and understanding.
Job Description
To carry out electrical planned preventative maintenance, electrical installation/Remedials work for a wide range of clients internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
1. The post holder will be required to carry out other tasks as requested by the Supervisors and Managers.
2. EICRs, covering domestic, commercial, retail, Petrochem and Industrial.
3. Emergency Lighting PPM, repair and alteration.
4. Portable Appliance testing.
5. Thermal Imaging.
6. EV commissioning, PPM and repair.
7. Electrical installation work.
8. Remedial corrective action where authorisation has prior agreement.
9. Attend team/Individual meetings to review performance and development.
10. To undertake EICRs in a cost-effective manner using your communication skills to liaise with the clients on-site representative to minimise disruption.
11. To undertake a wide range of electrical PPM tasks (as listed above).
12. To undertake small installation works, in an efficient and courteous manner, with a strong focus on customer care.
13. To demonstrate the behaviors and cultural values that are the foundation of the type of service quality we wish to embrace within the POWERTEST / VINCI Facilities Management.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
1. Approved Electrician.
2. 231/2382 Test and Inspection.
