Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored support to students, including one-to-one and small group interventions to enhance their learning experience.
2. Assist the classroom teacher in preparing resources and implementing engaging lessons.
3. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) through personalised learning strategies.
4. Promote positive behaviour and help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
5. Encourage student engagement and independence, supporting their social and emotional development.
6. Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to track and communicate student progress.
Requirements:
7. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect well with students and staff.
8. Previous experience in a similar role or working with children in an educational setting is beneficial.
9. GCSEs in Maths and English (Minimum Level 2/C Grade).
10. Empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting student development.
11. Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative in assisting the class teacher.
