Technical Administrator, Crewe UK
Autoscan provides Quality Inspection, Containment & Quality Engineering Services to the Automotive, Off Highway, and all types of manufacturing industries and their supply chain. We're currently looking to recruit an experienced Technical Administrator for an exciting opportunity based at one of our customer sites in Crewe.
Responsibilities:
1. Photograph defects found within the audit using a DSLR camera
2. Create photo packs of audit vehicles using Microsoft Powerpoint
3. Create problem descriptions and log these within Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
4. Log and track identified issues within Microsoft Excel
5. Raise problems within KPM system
6. Facilitate handover discussions of identified problems with designated problem owners
7. Problem data collection to stratify issues e.g. gap measurements on vehicles to understand the scale of the problem
Requirements:
1. Basic understanding of automotive parts, including part names and locations
2. Attention to detail for data collection and reporting
3. Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
4. Experience with additional IT systems such as KPM is beneficial
5. Knowledge of basic quality measurement tools such as gap and profile gauges
6. Mindset focused on quality in a fast-paced work environment
7. Previous knowledge and experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential
Working Hours: Flexible, covering an 8-hour shift between 7am and 4pm, with an early finish on Fridays.
Salary: £20.00 per hour PAYE.
Location: Based in the Crewe area, commutable from Winsford, Nantwich, Northwich, Chester, Wrexham, Whitchurch, Congleton, Knutsford, Macclesfield, and Stoke-on-Trent, as well as surrounding areas of Cheshire and Staffordshire regions.
