Site Manager required in Bushey GVR Solutions are currently representing a new client who are a well-established main contractor that are undergoing a healthy period of growth. They have been trading for 20 years and have a current turnover of £6m with the view of growing to £10m then to £20m. As a main contractor they undertake projects in the Education, Healthcare and Residential sector with values up to £2m. Project: 4 blocks of flats being renovated. They have the communal areas (door replacements, flooring, etc), facades and soft landscaping packages. Project value: £800k Site Manager Responsibilities: Adhering to programme to ensure completion on time and within budget Health & Safety RFI’s Variations (and changing programme accordingly) Procurement if variations require Need a proper No.1 site manager, reporting to a contracts manager/project manager who will visit the site weekly. Requirements for the Site Manager: IT literate – they use MS project Trade Background Based around N/NW London/Herts (9 – 12 o’clock) SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Must be able to travel within the boundaries of their work
