What skills and experience we're looking for
In order to succeed in this role, we believe the ideal candidate will have:
• Experience of working in KS1
• Strong knowledge of Early Learning particularly Phonics and Early Literacy
• Evidenced practice as a highly effective teacher over a period of time improving pupil outcomes
• Experience of working effectively as a leader both within a team and on a wider scale
• Experience of coaching and mentoring colleagues to improve practice and pupil outcomes
They should also be able to demonstrate:
• Practice as a highly effective teacher over a period of time
• Flexibility as a teacher, responding to the needs of the pupils
• Experience of working effectively as a leader within a team
• Experience of developing high quality learning environments for vulnerable pupils
• Experience of coaching and mentoring colleagues
• Commitment to the role, the Trust and the Development Team
