Trainee Sheriff Officer - Glasgow We now have an immediate vacancy for a Trainee Sheriff Officer based in Glasgow. This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week. Hours of work: Monday - Friday 08.30am to 5.00pm. Scott & Co is a leading provider of debt recovery, enforcement and citation services. We are part of Marston Holdings, the UK’s largest judicial services group, providing integrated court order compliance. We are looking for a confident, self-motivated individual, looking for a new challenge and to gain a new qualification to build a career with us at Scott & Co. The role will be focused on giving you a qualification and 121 learning and support with our Sheriff Officers. After you have gained your qualification with us, you will be qualified to be a Sheriff Officer for Scott & Co, which includes an increase in salary along with a company car and the opportunity to train as a messenger at arms. What you will be doing: Assisting the Sheriff Officer in the execution of their duties Processing service updates, reports and fees in real time via Optimise Tablet platform Checking documents for accuracy, corroborating facts and dialogue obtained during customer interactions. On road training from experienced Sheriff Officer Weekly Training sessions delivered by Training & Development Manager Homework assignments Regular progress assessments What you will need to succeed: SCQF Level 4 or equivalent.
