Fantastic Project Manager Apprentice opportunity at FM Conway!
FM Conway is currently searching for a Project Manager Apprentice to join our Water and Drainage Management division, based depot in Westfield, East Sussex. This is a full time, permanent role, offering full training and a clear career pathway.
As our Project Manager Apprentice, you will work in a supported learning environment to develop the skills and knowledge required to complete a Project Management Apprenticeship. You will work as part of the Water and Drainage Management team on various projects gaining knowledge and experience in a variety of areas of the industry. The role supports you with practical experience, educational learning and support attaining further professional certificates or memberships.
The duties of the Project Manager Apprentice Role will include:
-Pursuing your studies to gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours of a Project Manager
-Attending internal training diligently and playing a lead role in your upskilling and development in the workplace
-Assisting in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, under guidance of a project manager
-Working with the Project Managers to develop your skills on software to a proficient standard
-Working with Project Managers to develop the essential skills required to manage construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for candidates who possess excellent relationship-building skills, are self-motivated, show initiative, and are resourceful. It is essential that you have a minimum of 48 UCAS points for the Level 4 entry requirements or a minimum of 96 UCAS points for the Level 6 entry requirements. The A-Levels need to include maths, and preferably a science (chemistry or physics).
