EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our Bioresources team have an opportunity for you to join as a Maintenance Technician.
Starting from home you’ll be responsible for carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of mechanical Bioresources assets across multiple sites around Staffordshire and Shropshire.
Are you a Maintenance Technician who has sound diagnostic and problem-solving skills, while supporting us and our colleagues in fixing things for customer before they go wrong?
Some of your other key accountabilities will include:
1. Having experience in fault diagnostics and the repair of mechanical Bioresources assets.
2. Completing multi-skill electrical training.
3. Supporting Severn Trent’s drive to improve safety standards.
4. Being responsible for ensuring all activities are performed in a safe and diligent manner to ensure regular feedback on issues arising before, during and following activities that are carried out.
5. You’ll also be expected to participate in a / stand by rota so flexibility is required.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician who has completed a time served apprenticeship and have experience in fault finding of mechanical wastewater and anaerobic digestion assets.
You’ll also have worked with process control systems and industrial equipment, such as mechanical drives, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems. A basic knowledge of industrial electrical installation requirements/standards and an NVQ level in mechanical qualification would also be beneficial.
As this role involves travel a Full UK Driving License is Required.
