An integrated design and build provider working in the water sector is looking for a HRIS Specialist to join the team! Along with a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, you will also receive hybrid working, a car/car allowance, 25 days holiday (bank holidays) with an additional 5 days available to buy, a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, health insurance, private medical insurance plus many more! \n\n You will be responsible for managing and optimising HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy, system compliance, and supporting HR processes. This role requires a strong understanding of HR systems, data management, reporting metrics, and HR processes. \n\n As HRIS Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:\n\nManaging and maintaining HR systems, data and reports, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.\nTroubleshooting system issues and coordinating with IT team & IT Partners for resolution.\nEnsuring HR business processes are kept up-to-date and functioning optimally.\nAnalysing and interpreting large data sets.\nProducing HR reports, metrics & dashboards to provide valuable insight and support decision-making.\nLeading the implementation of system enhancements across multiple HR systems (e.g.
ERP, Recruitment, L&D, Fleet & Benefits) to optimise the long-term efficiency and effectiveness of HRIS reporting and processes.\nCollaborating with IT and HR team to implement & integrate new technologies and systems.\nManaging the system testing process for HR & ensure thorough testing after any ERP system changes or updates to maintain functionality and performance.\nAssessing and evaluating the effectiveness of HR systems, document business requirements and developing business cases to assist decision making and project proposals.\nProviding training and support to HR staff on system usage and best practices.\nEstablishing & maintaining robust systems and data privacy controls and provide support during HR audits to ensure compliance and resolve issues.\nStaying updated on industry trends and advancements in HR systems & technologies.\nWe’re looking for a HRIS Specialist with:\n\nBachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, or a related field\nProven experience as an HRIS Specialist or similar role.\nStrong knowledge of HR processes and data management.\nFamiliarity with HR compliance and regulatory requirements e.g. GDPR\nExperience of ERP system upgrade / implementation projects\nExperience of working closely with cross-functional teams\nProficiency in HRIS and ERP software (e.g., IFS, Cornerstone, Eploy, HandsHQ).\nAdvanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualisation tools e.g. Power BI.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that believes people matter!
